No one has been officially let go. Austin Thomas is the only one leaving so far but it’s basically a trade there.

I would expect that BD would be told to seek new employment quickly rather that just cutting him loose immediately.
If he can’t find employment, he’ll be replaced, it will not take long.

He may be bringing James Cregg with him not sure how that’ll work but it’s a possibility

Will the governor allow Davis to be fired?

This OL was so bad even if Cregg is average....I'll take average at this point. Sure we want elite/great but we weren't even average WITH transfers so it's obvious what the problem was.

serious question. Do you realize that this the same offensive line coach from the 2019 national championship team?

On top of, Davis was most likely the guy getting the guys they are stinking it up with since BK wasn’t that involved in the recruiting. So the talent evaluation sucked too on top of the piss poor coaching.

Des, if AT was in charge of the portal evaluation, he got us 6 starters & 2 or 3 backups on a pretty good defense.
With the exception of Moore at center, whose PFF grades were usually good, the question on the offense was talent or coaching. With the worse offense I have seen - I go back to Taylor & Cannon - I lean to these guys not being coached up.
I think Thomas has a place in Baton Rouge.

Wouldn’t be opposed to pulling Stacy Searels from Georgia. Coached our oline (arguably one of our best) under Saban.
