From the highest of highs, dream season, championship dreams, to losing their coach, roster and coaching staff getting poached, and no coaches left in this game of musical chairs.

Being the villain is so much more fun.

We never had a real reason to hate Saban. He’s done a lot for us tbh and continues to do so

Saban left LSU for the Dolphins. It just sucked that he went to a division rival and kicked our arse for 15+ years

They’re so damn stupid for not having let him coach. Hey guys, don’t you know the saying keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer? Bunch of dumbasses.

Holy shite. Jump the shark much? I guess LSU was hoping so because between Lane and BK they may never recover financially if Lane doesn't work out.

Ole Miss could’ve avoided this by letting the dude coach. If he’s not your coach, he’s got to start getting his next house in order and they’re upset with what they’ve sown. It’s routine for a coach to take assistants with him.

wrote a song about it, wanna hear it, here it goes

[Verse 1]
From the Grove to the Bayou the whispers grew loud
He wore the crown but he left the crowd
Eleven and one like a fairytale glow
Then the devil called Baton Rouge
Said it's time to go

[Prechorus]
Dreams in red and blue now scatter and fade
A dynasty’s death in the choices we made

[Chorus]
Oh the grass ain't greener
It's purple and gold
You thought you'd keep him but the truth's been sold
From the highest of highs to a hard
Bitter fall
In the game of chairs
No seat left at all

[Verse 2]
Players jump ship like leaves in the breeze
Recruiters picking bones like vultures on knees
Your dreams of a title
They’re gone with the rain
And all that’s left is this lingering pain

[Prechorus]
But here in the swamp
We wear the black hat
The villain’s crown fits
Ain't no shame in that

[Chorus]
Oh the grass ain't greener
It's purple and gold
You thought you'd keep him but the truth's been sold
From the highest of highs to a hard
Bitter fall
In the game of chairs
No seat left at all

I don’t know. I kind of have mixed emotions about this. If Kiffin left us for say Alabama with a team headed to the playoffs I’d have a problem with it. Now if he took the job at another school like Ohio State I’d feel differently. It’s not that Kiffin left it’s who he left for.
