It’s not what’s linked there. But Ruffino said he’s reading unconfirmed reports Lane has told assistants if they aren’t on the plane with him tomorrow then they won’t have a place on his staff in Baton Rouge.

How very Saban-like of him.
When LSU hired Nick away from Sparty, he sent a plane back to East Lansing but none of the staff members got on the plane to come to Baton Rouge.

The original word was that Kiffin was going to try to disrupt the staff as little as possible for the playoff run. I guess it makes sense if his thought process was that he’d continue coaching as well. Now, with OM playing hardball, he’s going to hit back and take everyone with him. This is going to get interesting.

We're a serviceable offensive line away from being 11-1 this year. Unless Kiffin pulls a Brian Kelly and mails it in, we won't be 8-4.

And it really does highlight just how stupid the calendar really is. This scenario was eventually going to happen.
Put signing day back to February and open the portal the day after the championship game. It isn't that difficult.

This is the confirmation I’ve been waiting for. It’s definitely done. Sorry he’s going scorched earth, but they do have some great players and coaches.

I think the early signing period should be in August. There should be only one portal window after Spring. The other alternative is not to allow schools to tamper with coaches until after their season is over.

Couldn’t be more wrong. Blake has sources. He’s been saying Florida has been out of it before it was confirmed. Also said Florida was interviewing candidates when their own insiders were denying it. This came to be true. Don’t hate on AYS.
