Fani Willis has a new budgetary problem All the defendants whose cases were dismissed yesterday are legally entitled to “reasonable attorney’s fees” to be paid by Fani Willis’ office So the Fulton taxpayers are now on the hook for several million more dollar

You get and deserve what you voted for. Maybe next election voters will be more responsible when they pull the voting booth lever. Or do they have paper ballots there? When you get terrible people in office just remember that voting public elected them to that position.

No sympathy. This is what they vote(D) for.

Was that the dumbest legal move in history for her to barge into the courtroom and demand to be put on the stand? Not sure all of that would have come out against her.

Maybe close 2nd or 1st would be having OJ put on the glove.

Here is a look at the costs per the AJC......

quote:

Trump's legal spending in Georgia: More than $5.5 million
Public filings reviewed by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) show Trump's PACs have spent upward of $5.5 million on Georgia-based attorneys since 2021. That includes:

More than $1.5 million paid to lead attorney Steve Sadow since August 2023
Nearly $1.5 million to his former lawyer Drew Findling
More than $2.2 million to attorney Jennifer Little between March 2021 and August 2024
$326,000 combined for three additional Georgia attorneys
All figures are sourced directly from PAC disclosures reviewed by the AJC.

Georgia GOP spent $2.3M defending three fake electors
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution also reports the Georgia Republican Party paid about $2.3 million in legal fees for:

Former party chair David Shafer
Cathy Latham
State Sen. Shawn Still
These are the three Republicans who signed certificates falsely claiming Trump won Georgia.

Crowdfunding adds hundreds of thousands more
Several co-defendants raised large sums online for their defense. According to the AJC:

Harrison Floyd: ~$363,000
John Eastman: $937,000
Jeff Clark: ~$153,000
Total defense spending already "well above $10 million"
While the exact total remains unknown, the AJC reports legal bills for Trump and the other defendants are likely "well above $10 million." That figure does not include any costs the county incurred prosecuting the case — and no detailed accounting of Fulton County's spending has been released.

There is currently no public record of:

District Attorney's investigative or staffing costs
Court administration expenses
Evidence processing or storage costs
Overtime or security spending tied specifically to the case

Taxpayers should file a civil suit against Fani herself for this nonsense....

That's what you get when you vote specifically because you hate a segment of the population and want to pretend they're oppressing you.

On day one when ole Fanny injected herself into the lawfare against Trump I said she was a total fool. She stepped into a game she was not qualified to play in.
I'd lime to ask her where are those folks in DC she met with now? They probably pumped her up and promised they had her back and full support.....
How did that turn out Fanny? Lol

Of course she does.

I’ve been told for 10 years Trump is the only one that doesn’t care about anyone but himself.

I do! Dumb bitch took a swing at the fence and struck out. She's been slapped down and humiliated on the national stage that she hoped to humiliate Trump on. She's not a happy person.

Best case of "you get what you vote for". Couldn't happen to a better group of people.

Problem is the Right won't hit that message right, so they start to realize they need to change their ways.

I'm happy for Rudy and Powell (though I think she cut a deal early? So not sure if this covers her)
