Feels like a cheating situation.

Ole Miss is the wife. She’s done nothing wrong. She’s been a good Mom to the kids, done all her wifely obligations. Etc.
LSU is the mistress. The one the heart wants. But the timing sucks and there has to be a good clean break without hurting the kids. The passion ain’t there at Ole Miss like at LSU but Ole Miss has not done anything wrong.
He knows if he stays faithful to Ole Miss, the best he can ever do is a low tier playoff bid. But if he leaves to chase what the heart wants it will either end in total happiness or a rebound divorce 3 years later but he’ll be hated by both schools and vilified throughout college football.
Only thing is, he’s done this before. Tennessee was his high school love and left her at the alter for that harlot USC. After that, it was just a blur of one night stands until he married Ole Miss.

Thats why he stays, hes matured drastically since that time. He actually cares just a little about how he is perceived at this point in his life! Hes douchey enough and quirky and if or when he announces that he is staying put that will go down as the best troll job EVER!! And the between for Lsu and Ole Piss deepens! Except this isn't a marriage. It's a job.
It's such a silly comparison. Jobs should not get the same loyalty or consideration that a marriage gets.
A job is a transaction. As much as people on this board tend to be confused about it, a modern marriage is not a transaction. If it is, you've sorta fricked up.
