Live in a nice, gated community.
Immaculate, no crime, security 24/7, off duty sheriff patrols.

This is in Texas.

We have several neighbors with 8-14 year old girls at home.

There is a sex offender down the street from us.
I understand a 20 year old might get lied to by a 14 y.o. who looks grown. shite like that happens.
But, this guy has aggravated sexual assault on a 7 y.o. female. That seems pretty clear he's a deviant piece of shite?

Should I share info with neighbors with daughters?
They are at ages where a reasonable person could possibly leave them alone for periods etc.

Just ask your neighbors if they know, pretty simple

Most states have it on a website. I signed up for one in my state and get alerts if a pedo moves in so close to my address.

Also lets me know if someone says they are living at my address.

Not in Texas... but morally it's the right move for OP.

Yes. It could prevent a rape. To put it another way, how would you feel if you did not say something and there was a rape?

I get alerts from TPSO when a new one moves in nearby. Rural tangi is apparently where they dump them…that’s much different though from having one in your subdivision

There was a vigilante in Bellingham,WA who went online to see if there were any sex offenders in his neighborhood. He found two names listed. He went to the first address and the registered sex offender was not home. He then went to the second address and shot the registered sex offender to death.

It turns out the sex offender shot to death was convicted of statutory rape for having sexual relations with a 17-year-old girl when he was 19. Not exactly what one thinks of when they think of sex offenders.

Yes and with all neighbors even if they don’t have children.

You are retarded to even ask this question. Seriously

To be honest…it usually is not the sex offender down the street. Those guys go to jail for life often if they f up again.

The education should be about coaches, other kids parents and most often family members or trusted acquaintances.

They're supposed to let everyone know. They have to live and work somewhere once they're done with their sentence.

statutory 17 y.o. while 19

Of course. I know shite happens. My baw is a sex offender. He fricked a 14 y.o. while 20. Had text messages etc where she portrayed self as 18. She apparently looked adult too.

Prosecutor didn't seek prison as she felt he legit thought she was of age. But, they had him dead to rights as he admitted in texts etc.

But, this is a 7 y.o. This isn't mistaking age.

I would. You'll feel like shite if something happens to a neighborhood kid and you didn't warn the parents.

The sites usually list their age, what year the crime occurred, age of victim, etc.

Yeah, definitely tell them if they don’t know yet. I truly don’t believe child molesters can’t be rehabilitated and will do it again if the opportunity arises

Everyone in the near vicinity should get a notification in the mail if he’s registered

Does he live within 500 feet of your house?

Could you tell the HOA that you are planning to Home School one of your kids next year and then he would have to move (being 500 feet within a school)?
