Why would he wait until after the Egg Bowl to announce his decision? The answer is obvious.

If Ole Miss wins the Egg Bowl then they are a shoo in for the playoffs with Kiffin as their coach. Accordingly if they win then he will stay at Ole Miss. He remembers the bad press he received when he ditched Tennessee and does not want to relive it.

If Ole Miss loses the Egg Bowl then their playoff hopes will be in serious jeopardy if not gone. Kiffin will bolt for LSU.

Hail State!

If you think his decision comes down to wether he wins or not you’re crazy

More likely to say, if they win egg bowl, “i havent decided “ and will want to keep coaching… Ole Miss will then either have to let him coach the playoffs or fire him and owe him the buyout ( which would be mitigated w LSU hiring)

LSU fans that want Kiffin should be more concerned about Auburn beating Alabama. If that happens, DeBoer is probably out the door and Alabama may just look at Kiffin.

The real question for me is what does the Ole Miss AD know? Is he really just hoping Kiffin will return or does he already know the outcome?

If he's smart, he wont because he's got everyone fooled at Ole Miss that he's a great coach and they'll build a statue of him just for making the playoffs when he didnt even win the conference title....again. And if he takes the LSU big contract, he'll be exposed again like he was at Tennessee and USC.

and since he didn't staying at Ole Miss is not a good look, even Ole Miss fans will not like it. On the other hand, the evidence that he has had agreement with LSU is LSU announcement that the school is pen to hire Orgeron;

He's going to LSU. He doesn't want shite to hit the fan until his son's season is over, which most likely is tomorrow night.

Between the OP and a few of the replies, this may be the lowest IQ thread on this board. Which is quite the feat
