Were we ever in it for Jacob Parker? Put that guy in left field for us and I like our chances against just about anyone. He is one of the best freshman I've seen

This game is over if we're not stupid on the base path

So frustrating. Should have been a big inning there.

That was painful to watch. Have fawley or Paino gotten the bat on the ball once today?
So thrilled to see another threat on this stuff.

Kiffin did not leave for money. We would have matched or come close enough to whatever LSU was going to offer pay wise.

It was the total resources for football that he wanted. That includes NIL budget, stadium, and the fact that Louisiana has a lot of talent in-state and no other major university in the state. It makes it a lot easier to win. And quite frankly, maybe the most important reason for him is you get more twitter followers being the coach of LSU than you do Ole Miss. You get talked about more as the coach of LSU than Ole Miss. Can't really argue that and followers and attention mean more to him than money.
Pete knows what he did is nothing compared to what lane did. He also knows his own players got tampered with by other coaches. If Dabo is going to whine and complain and rat him out, Pete has every right to do the same to other coaches that have been even more egregious with tampering

An Ole Miss fan making a comment about another coach's drinking habits is the height of irony.

True, we did employ Lane Kiffin for 6 years.
Wonder if Sark was sober enough to make this comment on his own or Lane told him what to say.
don't take the bait. Lane was very strategic with this comment. This isn't going to impact recruiting, he is just trolling the administration and fanbase because he knows how much they have fought that perception and done to correct it.

With the end of LIV, it's hard to imagine someone regretting a decision more than him right now. Not sure what he was paid or if that check will even cash, but giving up your last year of college, a chance to play in the masters and then go on to a pro career in the pga, there better have been a lot of 0s in that check.

Hopefully he is able to join the pga without much penalty
I don't know how this is even a topic. It's obviously lane. He took little ole miss within a few fingertips away from the national championship. And now he's at the greatest program in college football and finished with his mid life crisis. He's about to go on an unprecedented run

Throwing a beer on a fan and his wife. Classy.

It's absolutely trashy to do that. Hopefully that 20 year old drunk college kid matures before entering the working world or there's not much hope for him. Guess we're at the point where it's ok for grown men to have the maturity level of kids in college

We had a former HC who won an Nc leave and end up at a divisional foe only to go on a historic run….. I’m sure we will figure out what to do

Saban has multiple National Championships and would probably sacrifice a leg to have won another. If you asked Lane if he'd rather win a natty at lsu or get to 1M followers, you would not like the honest answer

Kinda ironic that phase 1 didn't happen because Lane said not to do it, and then he used the stadium size to throw darts at the University.

Pretty simple, Lane knew he wouldn't be here long enough to see the benefits of a bigger stadium, a bigger NIL budget could help him get to the next job.
I like kamardine and Perry but you can't have that as your starting backcourt and expect to be too successful. We really missed pedulla.
Kiffin is certainly a huge part of the success Chambliss had. Would be crazy to think it won't hurt with Kiffin and Weiss gone. That said, the QB coach stayed and our new offensive coordinator was hired by Kiffin and was a co-OC with Weiss a few years ago. This same guy also was big in getting Dart to Ole Miss.

A lot of uncertainty, but a lot of things were done to ensure TC can be in the same system and get similar coaching.
