Not sure it matters as long as you have the right staff and personnel. See 2019.

I get that, but was just trying to remember who was a OC or offensive coach not being a oline coach. Bo Rein was a innovative offensive coach.

No, Les was OC at Okie State

He was OL coach at Colorado for a time while Dinardo was the OC

Miles if you count OL, but if he was offensive minded, he sure fooled me.

Charley Mac and Dietzel were both defensive coaches, as were Arnsparger and Archer.

Stovall was a RB at LSU but a DB in the pros.

Gus Tinsley was a star WR.

The SEC used to be dominated by D-minded head coaches. Times have certainly changed.
