They have a really good, young Qb. I bet he enters the portal.

Now Wilcox abdicates his crown of #1 cfb coach who manages to stay around without doing anything to Mike Locksley.

Jimmy Sexton says Kiffin is Cal's top target

Cal should have kept him. They weren't relevant, but other than a couple year stretch, they haven't been since Rodgers left. I thought they had completely given up on football for a long stretch there.

Finally!!!
He lasted almost as long as Tedford, a guy who actually accomplished something. The last few years have been torture, starting each season knowing our record was going to be 5-7, 6-7, or 7-6.
We have already concluded that if that's the price we pay, so be it. Finding a good coach is far more important than a player who will last three seasons max, and in today's environment more likely a year or two.
Congrats to whoever lands Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele. It feels like his ceiling could be higher than his predecessor, Heisman candidate Fernando Mendoza.

Also, Nick Rolovich will be Cal's interim coach for the next two games. Remember him, the anti-vax guy who sued Washington State for terminating him? See, Berkeley is not so woke that they would refuse to employ an anti-vax warrior.

Philosophical question: can you really be described as anti vaccine when it never really was a vaccine? Inquiring minds.
