LSU has one CFB playoff berth since 2011. We are a great football program obviously but maybe we aren’t what we think we are? Just sucks yet again to be in late November and not be In contention for anything

We've had as much or more NFL talent as any just about any team in college football during that span.

Yankees have had only one WS since 2009.

Are they no longer a marquee franchise?

weird year for you to choose considering the playoffs started in 2014, while it’s been frustrating the only schools with multiple playoffs are
Bama
Clemson
Ohio State
Notre Dame
Michigan
Oklahoma
Texas
Georgia
Oregon
Washington

Only half of those have a title and only two have won more or are tied with LSU since the millennium

You must be one of those "Blake Baker sucks" idiots. The "special" board (Score board) is closed, dude. Come back next week.

LSU should have more than one playoff appearance if it thinks it’s elite. It simply hasn’t been in the playoff era. 2019 was absolutely exceptional.

In two weeks IU will have more playoff appearances than LSU. A&M, Ole Miss, Tulane, Cincinnati, Michigan State and the ACC champion will have the same amount as LSU, unless it’s SMU, in which case it will be their second.

At least we made the most of our appearance. We could be like ND or OU who have made multiple playoffs yet we've won 3 natties since the last time either of them have. And most of the time they've made playoffs or BCS CGs they got absolutely destroyed so it appears to be the product of the schedules they had (Big 12 and independent) more than anything.

You’re right. We are a seriously underperforming program. We have money, facilities, and talent - but consistently frick up the coaching staff.

This team has had crap coaching since Les left. And maybe since Saban left.

I mean I like Orgeron, but nobody would say he’s a really good head coach. He’s a character. Kelly is a slacker. Les got fired.

As an ND fan I’ll trade you a few playoff appearances for the 2019 national title.

LSU has been run by incompetents and pussies for most of its history. Outside of the Saban and Arnsparger years it’s been a joke. They don’t take risks, football people do not make the decisions and it’s always about selling BS to the fans over making the bold choices it takes to win. Thats how you squander the most NFL talent for a decade.

That’s how to say it - exactly what’s happened at LSU.

We had one great year, one spectacular, unbelievable, great year since 2014.

Lots of LSU fans want to see some consistency. No one expects to win a national title all the time.

But… what we haven’t been is relevant in the playoff race the week after we play Alabama, but only once since 2014.

A great program is in the playoff mix in late November more often than not.
