3 rebounds and only 9 shots in 30 minutes? WTF? Instead of realizing Queen and Zion could make an unstoppable pair it almost looked like Zion was sulking to me and didn’t want to shoot the ball. How does he not want the ball for the last shot? I’m just done with his shite. If he’s not hurt he might as well be because he doesn’t even want the ball.

The reality is that modern NBA stars hate basketball. They have no love for the game, no competitive drive, no loyalty to their team, no brotherhood with their teammates, no hatred for their opponents, and feel entitled to the admiration of their fans.

The difference watching Zion and Queen play is stark.

When Zion doesn’t have the ball, he sits in the corner in a spot he can’t shoot from, and we play 4 and 5.

When Queen doesn’t have the ball he is still heavily involved in the offense.

This is Queen’s team. He’s the star. Fears is the second guy. Trey, Herb, Murray are role players.

Zion doesn’t have a role on a winning team.

He is too fat and out of shape to play winning nba basketball right now

Like a lot of people have said. It’s a lot harder to build around Zion than it is to build around Queen.

Queen and Zion do play well together but you’re hurting your paint defense and rebounding.

Zion isn't fat. Why do people keep saying this?

I just think it's really hard to build with him because of his availability and lack of outside shooting.

It's year 7 and Zion is still either too ignorant or too pompous to realize that the reason why we are 2-14 in his 7th year, is because of him. He misses too many free throws in key spots. Last night he missed 3 in a row while we were getting torched in the 3rd Q and needed to stop the bleeding He can't be relied upon in the clutch bc he knows he can't dribble or make free throws when the defense tightens up and the game is on the line.

He's also already missed 8 games this season. If you replaced Zion with Luka, Cade Cunningham, or hell, even Brandon Ingram, we would have at least 10 wins right now. That's how bad Zion is as a number 1 option. He's historically bad as a number 1. One of the very worst in league history.

We are 10-27 in Zion's last 37 games played.

He's always hurt and can't shoot 3s. It hurts.

Yep. All we can do is hope he stays healthy enough to build his trade value a little.

I wouldn’t say hate.
But many players are in NBA for money and glory. That’s why they want to keep the 82 matches, even if it destroys their health.

I don't know about disinterested, but Zion just isn't that good. At least not $200MM superstar good. Playoff teams limit him severely. The money is better used elsewhere.

Agree. The question is what team would actually want him & what will they give for him.

this. He’s an upper B Tier “superstar”. Look at every other star in this league fill up a stat sheet night in and night out. Zion rarely ever does that.

Zion needs to be aggressive on the offensive side all four quarters just not the fourth. It amazes me how he just cruises through the 1H.

He might not have a gut hanging over his shorts, but to me there’s still moments he moves like an elderly man.. Idk if it’s fatigue or something wrong with his hips or arse, or having tree trunk legs or what. You could kind of notice in college, that sort of waddle.
Thats not normal for a 25 year old nba player imo. Yea he explodes near the rim, but just getting back on defense looks a giant chore for him.

Because he is fat and out of shape.

Did you watch the game last night? Zion does not have the current physical condition to play 30 minutes of sporadic effort. He has to sit tonight because 30 minutes of sporadic effort is too much for his fat body.

He is a world away from being a guy he can play with intensity for 33-35 minutes a game.

Ultimate simp behavior.

You know I started a thread after the first home game explaining how Zion acted disinterested the entire time and how weird it seemed to me as well as my wife.

It’s becoming more and more obvious .

People think Charlotte watches Zion and says “yeah let’s trade everything from Kon and picks to pair him with Melo” Lolol

Zion needed to be dealt seasons ago if they wanted to get a franchise building haul for him. Right after that lakers play in game. It wouldn’t have been popular but the signs have been there that it’s near impossible to build around Zion and his lack of availability.
