Realistically, what are the chances something doesn't leak by Friday?

Seems very low at this point. If he was signing an extension he would have done so by now and it would be announced. Writing is on the wall.

Maybe I'm reading too much between the lines here, but it certainly appears to me the more I read this that Ole Miss is working on better numbers for Kiffin.

And then what will practice look like? Will the players all start asking him about if they have a spot at LSU? Or will they be pissed and turn the team so toxic they lose the egg bowl?

I don’t think there’s anything to “leak”. He told them he would think about it over the next week and make up his mind by Saturday.

I honestly agree...but furthermore I think they alresdy presented their best number. I think Kiffin said great thats solid.... im going to do whats in my best interest and see if anyone can top that.
Thats how buisness is done. That still gives LSU the inside track.... if hes who the dept wants...then this is far from over
