Apparently South Louisiana is in the Southern Hemisphere now. Consistently 85 degrees every day in November.

I’m just making fun of ‘I live in the subtropical South Louisiana swamp and it’s hot’ whining

No fricking shite. I remember wearing shorts on Christmas quite a few times.

Not sure what OP expects

I'm originally from south Louisiana and had lived in Houston for the past 5 years until we moved to Boise, ID last February. It's hard to explain how much happier I am now, especially when it comes to weather.

There is no fricking humidity here! It's phenomenal. We have four actual season here. I was working here as a consultant all last winter, so I do know what it's like. It's not bad! There was not much snow at all, and while it gets below freezing every night, I just didn't find it that bad. It's not like Minnesota or Wisconsin.

The spring was mild and cool and even the summer wasn't that bad when it got in the 90's because of the low humidity. This fall has been beautiful, especially with the leaves turning orange, etc.

it's currently 45 outside, so while chilly, I am happy to just put on a jacket and enjoy it. I'll light a fire tonight and appreciate that.

frick living in the south again. I love the people and the food, but it's just not worth it anymore with the miserable fricking weather...

Moving to Houston then complaining about the weather is like buying a Nissan Sentra and complaining that it's slow.

Better get used to it or move. After 32 years living in it, I bought a pool and started growing tropical fruit trees. Now at least I'm using the warm winters.

2 weeks ago it was cold and someone used that as an argument against climate change. Why’s it so quiet now?

In the summer time, it stays hot, but we never get a cool front to bring down the temperatures.

In the winter time, it stays warm and we sporadically get cold fronts to bring down the temperature.

Such is life in south Louisiana.

I’ll trade you, over here in Alabama it’s only in the high 60s - lower 70s.

It’ll be cold arse soon enough.
