That's what I keep reminding myself this morning. If an extension is signed, they're wasting absolutely no time leaking that to the public. The fact that we haven't heard anything yet is good news.
Now if rumors start circulating that he signed it, I wouldn't even wait for it to be official and I'd just mentally move on to Dilly.

This. If Kiffin signs an extension we will know before the end of the day.
Even if they just let the staff and players know, that will get out. You can’t keep 100+ people quiet.

I think it's likely he takes Ole Miss' final presentation today and tells them he will let them know by Sunday.
If we don't hear anything by Sunday night, it will leak Monday that he's leaving, and the whole Egg Bowl week is chaos in Oxford. OM might suck it up and hope he can finish Miss St off or they might just say get lost and take their chances with the interim. It is going to get ugly.
Either way, he's lost fans in Oxford. They'll not trust him again.
