The board's smoke seems to have cleared after multi threads of "It's done"

Nothing appears to have developed like we were we led to believe in the last 2 days, by those who picked up nuggets "what I am told"
It could be we don't have realistic expectations. "he's flying in tonight"... "i have great confidence"
the silence today is both familiar and uncomfortable because we've experienced this before and been handed a coach we didn't really want, didn't see coming because the top target fell through
A lot of factors are outside the AD's hands. If you offer top dollar, total control and top NIL money, what else can LSU admins do but move on to the next candidate?
I hope we get lucky...

I just don't think anything is coming until after the Egg Bowl, but if you're ole miss, how long do you let this go?

There are reports from several different groups that Ole Miss's players are dismissed for Friday through Sunday and a meeting will take place Friday. We'll know after that meeting what will happen. Most people have said early next week should bring some additional info and we should have an answer after the season is over next weekend.
The silence is here because there is nothing new. LSU is shooting its shot, Florida is shooting its shot, and Ole Miss is shooting its shot. We'll see what happens.

For what reason should LSU move on? Because fans on a message board believe a head coach of a playoff team will announce he's leaving during the regular season? No one truly believes that. It was ALWAYS going to be after the regular season.
