I don’t see that Sumrall called it off on Nakos Twitter.. just that the meeting has been called off.

That's not what I got from that. They just removed the scheduled meeting from the books.

He was never a candidate and wasn't even contacted by Florida, so yeah I'm not surprised there. He's considered a high-risk, high-ceiling candidate, much like Napier was. They are going with a coach that has SEC experience, and I'll leave it at that.

My guess is Florida did this to force Lanes hand. It either worked or it backfired.
