- BPA for top 5 pick in 1st rd.
-Thinking 2nd rd Saints will be targeting WR.

Although, I’m hoping Coach Moore gets out his Baseball Bat and beats Loomis mercilessly till he agrees to trade back in the 1st rd to pick up extra picks in 2026 draft.

Cooks was not in the future plans, his release doesn't change anything.

Noted……

But I still think they are targeting WR in the 2nd rd.

Olave is proven.
He’s very fragile but proven.

Beyond Olave…. No One has shown anything at WR !!

WR is not even on the board when both OL and DL are dogshit. You build inside out, not the other way around.

Did not KM say he believed building the lines a priority (his words were building from inside out). He will be targeting top lineman for both sides.

I mean, maybe in the old days. Nobody really has that great of an OL anymore. The position is coached and developed terribly by most teams.

This team needs playmakers.

Can’t draft the playmakers till ya rebuild the OL and DL.

Can’t build the OL and DL lines til you get a New Scouting Department.

Can’t get a New Scouting Dept cause the GM is Dumb as Fukk.

Ridding ourselves of the GM would be a good start but 1st we need a NEW OWNER !!

You still want to have a receiver who can get open early, often and make contested catches.

Mobile qbs or guys who navigate the pocket well can get away with bad linemen. Rarely will anyone have 5 elite guys blocking, more often it's 3 guys and 2 serviceable. Any elite offense has that and 1-2 game changer weapons.

Detroit: Gibbs, St brown, and Williams/laporta
Indy: Taylor, Pittman, and Warren
Seattle: walker and Smith njigba
LA rams: Williams, nacua, Adams

We have the ghost of Kamara and olave

Ehh

His whole body of work is not great.
A lot of loafing in the past years, dropped passes etc.

Exactly. I’m not saying they don’t need to add to Guard or DL, but those are probably 3rd and 4th on the list. Team desperately needs juice at WR and RB and TE

you have your years mixed up, 2027 first pick J Smith.

But it's 2026, only way we draft a WR in the first is if we trade back with Browns or Jets and get a 2nd first. And that is still a maybe and we still need to have first or 2nd pick.

We are better off looking at someone like Bell in the second or if Boston slides down.

I wouldn't want another diva receiver. I agree with building the lines. Part of the reason for the 2009 season was a hall of fame QB of course, but we also had arguably the best O-line in the league. Nicks and Bushrod were steam rolling fools that season.
