I think Layla Kiffin is the x-factor in what Lane decides ultimately

He’s been actively trying to repair/restore his marriage. I think what she wants, where she wants to live and raise their kids is going to carry a lot of weight in the decision. I’m not saying she’s calling the shots, but if Lane is sincerely trying to win her back, remarry etc, she has serious sway.

It takes two to tango. If LSU is Kiffin's dream job they will figure it out. BR has been getting a lot of hate but its better than Gainesville and not that bad of place if youre in the right areas.

FWIW, buzz has been that the trip went well and Layla seemed 100% open to living in Baton Rouge

1. She’s his ex-wife
2. His children are almost grown. His son is a sophomore in high school and his daughter is about to graduate from college. He has another daughter in college at USCw. None of his kids are going to be living in the same city as he and Layla very much longer regardless of where Lane ends up

I didn’t make a case for BR vs Gainesville, I just think want she wants, or where she wants to be may be a bigger factor in this particular scenario. Hell she might just want to stay in Oxford given the choices, we don’t know.

I dont know if it matters because 15 million a year makes that trip home to see her folks very easy.
I couldnt imagine getting fifteen million a year to live far away from my family
