Not sure about HC (yet) but I would love to have Kelvin as part of the coaching staff as assistant HC and DC

Man, it seems like eons since I've heard his name here after the past 36 hours.

Cant cool off on someone you were never hot on to begin with

Not sure we ever heated up? Never been a HC and is a first time DC this season.

He was never a thing. Stop listening to Fehoko

We were never on Kelvin. He was mentioned by a few former tigers, but there was never really any smoke there except as a very far fallback plan.
In truth, if he wants to be a potential head coach for LSU in the future, then he needs to use his DC spot to bounce to a HC gig at a G6 and show he can run a college program in the NIL era. If he succeeds, he may be on the short list when we eventually need a new head coach in the future. LSU isn't the program for you to cut your teeth at as a head coach with only 1 year of coordinator experience.

He’s a guy you pursue if 5 other people turn you down

Future is bright for Kelvin, but I see his road continuing in the NFL. I will root heavily for whatever team he’s the head coach of. He’s one of my favorite former Tigers. Probably top 3.

The only way I could see this is if LSU brings in KS as a DC with the silent HC in waiting tag if he does well. Probably under someone like Frank Wilson. It would allow for a ton of NIL/Roster money since both would be on the cheap, comparatively. Still seems like an option that is pretty low on LSU’s list. But an option nonetheless

He is too inexperienced at this point. Could be good, he just too far down the list and I don't think it gets to him.

Lol. You’re going to shite your pants when it passes him up on the downward slide and gets all the way down to Frank Wilson.

wasnt aware we had heated up

The most rapid progression to D1 HC was Prime. It was literally ridiculous and even he had some collegiate coaching experience at that point.
Everyone loves Big Shep but we need to give up on LSU if he’s the hire in 2025. Maybe down the road but not now.

Lost his last game. We’ve moved on.

I don’t think anyone was ever warm on him.
