People applaud Trump for standing up to Epstein, but I have yet hear anyone ask Trump that follow-up question.
Trump admitted he knew Epstein was up to no good, his own words. This was also confirmed in the released emails.
So is anyone going to ask him, straight up, what specifically triggered his conscience?

If you put all the pieces together, including the email that the dems recently tried to scam off as a Trump smear, it appears that Trump got word, possibly from Giuffre's father who was a long time MAL employee, that JE was recruiting young girls working at the club for perv stuff. At some point, according to the email, Trump sat with Giuffre for a few hours, presumably to get the truth first-hand, then report to the police.

I have no first hand knowledge - but the only thing I have heard is that Epstein was doing something on his property that he didn't want.
It has been suggested that he was soliciting some of the MarALago female employees - other than that I do not know - but there seems to be no doubt that Epstein was 'barred' from the property - how that would be enforced I don't know - other than withdrawing any 'invitation' to be there.

I thought it was when Trump was informed about when Epstein was hitting on Trump’s underage MAL lifeguard. After that Trump said enough is enough and cut ties with Epstein. It’s also probably a little more complicated than just the underage lifeguard issue. To add context I think they were also going sideways on a real estate deal.

It's been a while since I read Relentless Pursuit, but if I remember correctly, it was due to his behavior towards one or more of the female clubhouse employees.
It is worth mentioning that the attorneys trying to prosecute Epstein pointed out that Trump was one of the few people willing to come forward to speak out against Epstein.
