What is a town or region of America that is both western and southern? Both cultures present at once? Or maybe a western town that has southern culture if such a thing exists?
Somewhere in Texas?

Gonzales - Seguin - Cuero area (DeWitt colony) in TX was about the maximum extent of plantation agriculture and overlapped by Spanish ranching culture. If that's not Southern enough, Nacogdoches is and also has southwestern heritage.

I'm not sure about Dallas, but I'd give a tip of my hat to OKC. Good food, good manners, and the famous Chisholm Trail passes not too far from it.

I'd say OKC for the win on this one.

Have you ever been to Dallas? It is neither southern or cowboy in terms of culture. It is an international city filled mostly with transplants from all over the country.

The whole north, east, west, south question is a trick question.

Alaska is actually north, east, and west because the allutian islands cross the date line.

South is Florida
