If you could go back in time and see one boxing event live, what would it be?

A lot of good choices, but by a slim margin I'd take Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier I – “The Fight of the Century”.
Both men undefeated, Ali back from the exile, Frazier the champ. Frank Sinatra shooting photos for Life magazine, celebrities ten rows deep, and 15 rounds of hell where both men touched the canvas. The night boxing was the center of the universe.

Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul

Prolly this. Full 15 rounds of boxing. Old school. Two great fighters/boxers/athletes duking it out in the ring. Stars all around.

Probably Jack Dempsey beating the shite out of Jess Willard. He was giving up like 5 or 6 inches and 50 pounds which was unheard of at the time.

Good one. I was going to say some of the others already mentioned, but I think I'd rather go way back and see some of the early big fights like this.
I'd also throw in Tunney-Dempsey II just to see the long count with 100k people at Soldier Field, and Johnson-Jeffries because of the cultural impact and riots it caused.

Good one. I would love to have witnessed in person Ward/Gatti I or Castillo/Corrales.

Gatti Ward, -all of them.

Frazier never went down in this fight. Ali never knocked him down in three fights. Frazier did have to quit after the 14th round in the Thrilla from Manila.

I like your choice, that fight was huge and a great fight. Tons of celebrities showed up for that one.. Ali really got under Frazier's skin with his pre fight antics and it cost Ali. Frazier was incredibly determined to win that night.
My other choices align with some previous posts, Louis vs. Schmeling 2 and Dempsey vs. Willard.

The most bad arse fighter of all time to me was Badr Hari who was actually a kick boxer. Just watch a little bit of this video and you'll see just how dangerous this guy is. He may or may not be retired after a great career. His last fight was in 2023, but he still trains and hasn't announced his retirement.
I would like to go back and watch any of Badr's fights with Allistair Overeem, who was an absolute beast.
