Ted Cruz Builds 2028 Bid Through Tucker Carlson Feud

Senator Ted Cruz is ramping up speaking engagements, donor events, and podcast fundraising while using his Senate role to connect with business leaders and pro-Israel supporters. He has escalated his public criticism of Tucker Carlson over isolationist views and Carlson's interview with Nick Fuentes, positioning himself as a hawkish voice in the Republican Party. Early polls show Cruz trailing Vice President JD Vance, amid the GOP's shift toward isolationism.

If Axios says it then it must be true. Vance will be the next nominee.

He will certainly face mostly Establishment challengers and maybe an outsider, but he's already got the nomination on lock.

I've always liked Cruz for the most part but if he's going to go somewhere more "significant", it should be to the SCOTUS. Bro has the personality of waterlogged socks and just doesn't have the charisma required for a successful Presidential campaign. We've already seen that movie.

I think Axios is reaching, here. DeSantis, maybe. But I don't see Cruz risking taking another embarrassing "L", especially considering JD's masterful wit and highly effective trolling. If anyone other than Vance gets the nod, it means the Establishment Uniparty wants President Newsom.

Cruz knows he can't win. He is bulking up for someone or something this early. I'd guess a SCOTUS appointment or VP slot from someone.

Megyn Kelly said she would run if AOC ran. Tucker Carlson's son works for Vance. So he won't challenge Vance.

You know what? I'll actually listen to his pitch if he resigns from the Senate to run.

If not, then he's just grifting for campaign money and anyone who gives it to him is a fricking retard.

And btw - IF you plan on supporting Ted or Ron for the nomination, then you should probably believe this: I'm from the future. And Vance is the nominee.

He is making sure 2028 will be all about Israel and Ukraine. Ukraine bros may get an edge.

BTW: there are already throw out red MAGA hats in a literal garbage can; and put on a blue America First hat, memes on X.

I told ya'll it has begun. It will be an ugly primary.

The AI thing is interesting.

I get the concerns on it replacing jobs. But at the same time you don’t want to be the nation left in the dust on tech.

I voted for Ted Cruz in the 2016 Primary against Trump. That was when I didn't trust Trump. Eddie Munster doesn't have my support. The more the Kosher right attacks Tucker. The more they divide the Right.

Tea Party -> MAGA -> America First

I will still make it into heaven without supporting a Secular Israel.

You're right. But fun they will have, raising money, campaigning, cocktailing, and building that name recognition.

Ted Cruz showed up at an interview with Tucker Carlson and wasn’t prepared. He looked like a dumbass and has no common logical thread to any point he tried to make. The great “Solicitor General” had no answers. Just pontificating.

He then got his panties in a snit and decided to run for president against “antisemitism” and Nick Fuentes. Because no way he’s beating JD Vance. Not even in a debate. So he has to just keep saying “shoulder to shoulder with Israel” as if that’s some kind of smart thing to say.

It’s transparent.

He and Desantis are going to try to run on the same ticket. Where they will get their arse beat and then vote their conscience at the convention in ‘28.

frick Ted Cruz. He grosses me out 20 times more than Thomas Massie.

The exact moment Ted Cruz was inspired to run for president against Tucker Carlson.

He’s a transparent opportunist, and had he been more prepared he could have explained what exactly AIPAC is in two sentences. But he didn’t, because he couldn’t.
