SONS

AT LONG LAST OUR BAD COACH IS GONE. HE IS REPLACED BY A COACH THAT WILL COACH BETTER.

DID WILLIE GET A LOT OF BAD LUCK BY INHERITING frickING ZION PART TIME WILLIAMSON? YES, BUT THE PROBLEMS WERE GREATER THAN THAT. HE REFUSED TO CHANGE. AND WHEN HE WOULD, IT WOULD BE TOO LITTLE TOO LATE.

ENTER JIMTAVIOUS BORREGO, A KNOWN OFFENSIVE COACH THAT LOVES PACE AND MOVEMENT AND PLAY DEPTH, SOMETHING THIS TEAM HAS LACKED FOR YEARS. BURIED ON THE BENCH, ITS NOW HIS MOTHERfrickING TIME AND WE'VE GOT TO EXPECT THAT THINGS WILL LOOK DIFFERENT.

OOPS ZIONS DOING BETTER. WHAT CRAZY TIMING! LETS frickING EAT A DUB ON THE DUBS.

2 GAMES BACK OF THE 10 SEED. AINT shite OVER YET ASSHOLES.

SORRY FOR THE CAPS TO ALL YOU EFFEMINATE POSTERS. WE'RE BACK.

FLOCK ME? FLOCK YOU!!! Let’s GOOOOO!
I expect one of two scenarios:
We see a refreshed revitalized team, with an all of the sudden healthy Zion, who actually tries…
Or
The same shite we have seen for years. Out the gate slow falling behind, and a terrible third quarter.
I’m REALLY hoping for the first scenario.

I’m coming off my 7-10 evaluation and tuning in to my guys AD and Joel. Let’s. Go.

Signs of a good coach to look for. NOT putting Herb Jones on Steph Curry. Letting him play help and off ball, let Fears and Jose chase him around. Let Herb take whomever the second scorer is out of the game. Ala Pop putting Bruce Bowen on Peja instead of CP3 back in the day and completely turning the series.

Kuminga is out tonight so Herb on Butler maybe? I think Herb was on Butler for Miami before if I remember right.

frick Bruce Bowen’s bitch arse.

I’m happy Willie is gone and it’s not going to be perfect but hopefully we look like an NBA the majority of the time because we haven’t for a long time now.

Signs of a "great" coach to look for? With GS apparently starting Curry, Richard, Moody, Butler and Green...I'd put Herb on Green and go "small ball" all the way...let Green set all the picks for Curry he wants to...as it will result in Herb picking up Curry...AFTER the pick. No chasing of Curry all over the court...he'll come to you.

I promise you Kerr does NOT want that "switch"...

Signs of bad management alternatively. Possibly sitting Zion in a maybe winnable game, and instead playing him on the teams second of a back to back against the defending champs.

We will see an immediate improvement in rotations, energy and play calling, what we won’t see an immediate improvement in is likely play execution. It will take a few practices for JB to drill new plays into the guys and for them to execute with perfection.

Just an uptick in energy and better rotations will result in a few wins we otherwise would’ve lost though

Exactly. I want to see that there was a plan. A goal to get a good open shot. Maybe we miss, maybe Steph lights us up. But we can’t also lose the coaching battle every single time.

My first thought when we made the coaching change was these rants would be back.

Yeah I just know they will have those people after the first turnover saying “See told you he’s a bad coach and is in over his head, Kerr is putting on a masterclass”

And BTW...IF... Zion does start today...I can't imagine who he can possibly guard off that small ball lineup Kerr is apparently starting today. If you put him on Green...Green will just pick Herb (or whoever) off Curry and you're left with Zion trying to guard Curry...after the pick...and that would get VERY ugly...VERY quickly.

James should do everything in his powers to keep Fears off of Steph as much as possible. Fears biggest problem this season has been communication mistakes on defense. Fears will look like fresh meat to the Steph and Draymond two man game.

This pregame press conference is so refreshing.

Key note, JB said he will lean more into lineups that allow us to play faster and with greater pace, specifically talked about Fears and how fast he gets end to end

He also kind of inadvertently took a shot at Willie and said he has to actually get these guys to play with pace and not just talk about it
