I am looking to get a pair of chest waders, non-insulated and with bootfoot. $600 to $800 range. Any recommendations?

They will leak eventually regardless of manufacturer. If spending that much, find a $250 pair you find comfortable then buy 3 pairs. Good luck too.

Why do you have to have boot foot?

Did some digging awhile back on this, came up with High n Dry waders. So far so good, time will tell. Went back and forth with them via email to make sure fit was right. Excellent service. Got tired of buying a $300-$400 new set every year because they were crap.

They all leak. You can pay high dollar for some with repair policies but you’re going to need a backup pair.
Personally, I buy the cheapest ones on Rogers or Cabela’s or academy. They last long enough and patching with aquaseal is easy enough. I’ve never bothered with breathable. If you can get away with waste high waders it makes a big difference too.
