Great video showing the disconnect between the ideology that college students are being indoctrinated with, and the realities of funding their initiatives…

Disclaimer: didn't watch the video.

But why don't the professors who push this, resign their positions, and go to the immigrant source nations and teach for free? Walk the talk.

Most of these kids spout off and haven’t thought about the repercussions of their policies.

Also people love to virtue signal when the cameras are on. Might not be how they really feel when the world isn’t watching.

The amount of brainwashing it takes for these kids to think going to college “shouldn’t just be for elite class”. WTF. There are 10,000 colleges most are filled with ACT scores of ~18.

Then, the fact they think anyone who sneaks into America illegally should get $0 tuition while the citizens have to pay.

It’s like they believe they’ll get points for every liberal nonsense they can spew.

Thankfully they're not in charge of policy. They need more life experience.

Btw, there are actually virtually free or extremely inexpensive tuition colleges with real degrees. There's really no need for people to pay outrageous tuition/fees or for us to socialize it.

Spot on, and a couple of them actually said that it isn’t THEIR responsibility. Someone else needs to pay- probably the billionaires. They are indoctrinated to think that these folks don’t pay taxes, are hoarding money, and to blame for all of society’s ills. Typical socialist thinking…

Of course people with no money and no skin in the game think everything should be free. Notice all they smile awkwardly when asked to donate. A part of their brain is telling them "see stupid, life doesn't work that way".

We have individuals here who are the exact same as the one guy who said, yes it is a human right and illegals should get free education, but when asked if he would chip in, he claimed it was not his responsibility to do so. He claimed it was the responsibility of those, who have money, but for the wrong reasons.

Who is it that determines the right and wrong reasons for the money someone else has?

But yes, I have seen several posters here spout off about this or that belief and when pressed, they disappear, shrug off their responsibility to ensure their belief is realized or get downright hostile. One starts numerous topics and never, ever takes responsibility for what his/her duties are to see his/her vision through. It is always someone else or some systemic thing hilding everything back.

Idiots. The world is full of idiots.

4 cubbies was in that video.

It’s quite telling when you ask a liberal for money to fund a human right they say that shouldn’t be my problem.

Every one of them failed right off the bat as education is not a "human right".

If people think this is bad now, think of all the ultra lefties militants the NYC school system is going to create, and then let purposely let loose on the rest of the nation to fight for it everywhere.

They are going to purposely shamelessly create these type of people on steroids there now.

The simple fact that it's not a natural want, demonstrated by kids having to be forced to do it, proves that it is not.

Having free access to learning is more now than ever too. Heck, people can essentially get an ivy league education for free in the internets and YouTubes, if they wanted it.

Remember how stupid these kids are whenever someone tells you they want the voting age lowered to 16.

quote:

16 year olds to be given right to vote through election reforms
Sixteen year olds will be given the right to vote in all UK elections as part of seismic changes to modernise UK democracy

"Modernise." LOL. That just means to entrench Labour and other progressive filth.

Before there were child labor laws, a LOT more kids would rather have had an education than work in factories. When society was far more agrarian (read: kids had more chores to do and parents were more involved), kids were more desirous of an education.

But none of that is why it's not a "human right". Education, in this case a higher education at a college or university, is a service. Services are provided through the efforts of people.

To say something is a "human right" is to say every person gets access to it by dint of being born and with no need to pay compensation.

A scenario where the uncompensated services of another are considered a "right" is also called "slavery."

All that said, illegals can seek out education but there is no "human right" that an education be granted to them by the country they are illegally in.
