Best budget binocular (Edit)

What is your definition of this budget? I would consider the below a good budget pair of field eyes.

I agree that the viper are a great value. Cabelas usually has a big discount on them for black friday so wait a week or two and see where they land.

You can find Vortex Diamondback 10x42’s HD’s on sale for $120-$150 sometimes (regularly $250). I have two pair and it’s all I need around here. I keep one in the truck and one in the hunting backpack. The only knock I would give them is the depth of field can be a little thin. If you can find the Vipers for a good deal, that might be an option, too.

Leupold makes some good ones, also. I bought my father-in-law a set of the BX-2 10x42’s, but was shipped the 12x52’s instead. He loves them. It’s hard to get him off of the balcony at the beach sometimes because he’s looking at “fish in the water.”

Another vote for these. I usually carry the 10x42’s if I’m rifle hunting since I typically bring less climbing sticks, or I just hunt on the ground.
I also have the same ones in 8x42. They’re less bulky so I bring them when I’m bow hunting since I’m carrying more sticks, a rangefinder, and I don’t need the extra magnification.
I couldn’t imagine needing anything better/more expensive.

Range finding Sigs in 10x on sale for $500. Worth a look.
