Apologies for not responding sooner...weekend was a little much.
Switching the number to a different device and then getting the code was the trick. Thanks for the heads up.

Kid forgot his password for recovery. The bank card linked is no longer valid. He has a new card.
We have submitted proof of purchase.
He has tried the 4 day wait for a code twice but can't receive it because the phone can't receive messages. Apparently apple will not send to another number.
Anyone have any ideas of what to do? Rest of the house is samsung because of stuff like this but he pays for his phone and he needs aura for his street cred and stuff. He is learning a lesson but basically the phone is a paper weight for the last 10 days.
TIA.

Agreed!
"I realize this meme is sort of a tongue-in-cheek joke based on the premise that the feds are collecting/reading info on people online. But if this comment somehow makes it's away across some feds screen somewhere, I don't mind admitting I've still got all mine, and so do a hundred million other Americans."
I don't even think it is cute to suggest they have been lost or whatever. I am a proud defender of my second amendment rights and they shall not be infringed.

Most of this would be pretty close. I know The Cure is coming from the OP and I get that but Depeche Mode hit home a lot too.

Most schools have a rule that if a suspension, in-school or out, is in place the student will not travel to or participate in any functions other than essential academic issues. I have always enforced this with zero tolerance where I have been the one responsible. If there was a suspension in place it would be interesting to know if there is a similar policy and if so why it was not followed.

I have to agree with the common theme here. Social Media marketing caught the Mrs. attention, I agreed. One day when returning to Texas after visiting New Orleans we detoured for an afternoon lunch. Food was just ok. Not nearly as great as they make it look when viewing it.

This should be as shocking to the political landscape as the comment from 1990 involving Clayton Williams and his weather/rape idiocy. But 40+% will still vote for Talarico.

The number is actually 31%. It is very real. IEP covers many "disabilities."
Special Ed, which now includes Dyslexia. Speech was added a few years ago and that ballooned the numbers since almost any kid can qualify. 504 plans. A long list. We are about 10 percent higher than most districts but our county gets higher net benefits for crazy checks and other public assistance so we draw them en masse.

There is increased funding for these students. It doesn't come close to covering the cost of the programs required to meet nearly every IEP made.
So yes, follow the money, but follow it to where it actually winds up. Take for instance private companies that contract service providers for services required by IEPs. Get an LLC, hire providers, then gouge the schools. Frankly it makes prices during an emergency look paltry.
My district almost breaks even on a Gen Ed student. Average loss per student with an IEP is just under 3k on average. We have just over 30 percent of our enrollment with an IEP. It is a losing proposition. And as a rule, the parents do not give a rat's arse. They want the crazy check!

Where is this happening?
Been a school administrator in Texas for quite a while. I have yet to receive my cut.
However, another response in here mentioned getting lunch served by ladies with a Goatee. I agree. And if I could get past the bureaucracy and turn my cafeteria ladies loose in the kitchen...would be some serious grub happening.
