Who is the most successful LSU dropout you've met?

How much do you think they're pulling a year?
Was talking to a guy at Market Basket and he's a CFO at a decent sized construction company in Lake Charles.
(Athletes don't count)

I went to school with a guy that dropped out our freshman year. He worked for then bought into a fab shop which he is now the sole owner of. He pockets btw 1-3 mil/year depending the year. He ended up getting lots of work within the chemical plants and got locked in with them

That I know personally? A fraternity brother, petroleum engineering major, made a 4.0 his freshman year then went nuts, became borderline alcoholic, his family cut him off, I heard he was managing a storage rental place and living in one of the units. I lost track of him and figured he was dead. Fast forward about 15 years and he's a real estate appraiser with offices up and down the gulf coast. He had family connections that eventually came through for him. I think he's still a functional alcoholic though.

Real estate agent for my first house. He went to LSU for a year on a football scholarship. He had a family run Remax agency in Huntsville and owned a crap load of rental properties. His wife was an agent but mostly ran the contractors who would fix up properties before selling them. I went to high school with his daughter.
He was easily a millionaire in his early 50s.

JaMarcus Russell didn't do too bad in his first couple of years after LSU.

My stepdad. Didn't make it past the first semester back in the 70's. Just drank and smoked weed all day, didn't even attend any classes. Ended up working a little bit, then tried again at NLU, graduated as a pharmacist, and worked the last 10-15 years of his career as a work from home pharmacist.

Not LSU, but the guy I work for had a full scholarship to Loyola. Decided college was not for him and dropped out. He's now a self-made millionaire.

I graduated with Shaq. And ever since, LSU stood for Love Shaq University. Can you dig it?

One of my dad's good friends or one of my grandfathers. Dad's friend ran the largest freight forwarding company in New Orleans for 40 years and was Rex. Grandfather dropped out because his father, a doctor, died when he was 20 and he had to work. Went into real estate and did incredibly well. Put together the deal that was One Shell Square. Took a piece of the building instead of a commission. Worked out well.
