Has anyone figured out yet that they slipped in a provision to close the 2018 Farm Bill loophole re: THC that will destroy billions of dollars of small businesses?

The dope? Stay off it. Nancy Reagan was right.

If you:

1. Stay in school, and

2. Stay off "the dope",

...you'll probably make out alright.

Deviate from this advice at your own peril.

So you’re just for more government regulation and registering of people into different classes.. what if we made people get a medical card to buy alcohol? You know.. the more harmful of the two..

It was hardly slipped in. The language was drafted in June.

But even CA did this prior:
quote:

In September 2024, the California Department of Public Health issued emergency regulations banning hemp-derived food, beverage, and dietary products with any detectable amount of THC or other intoxicating cannabinoids. The rules cover over 30 compounds, including delta-8 and delta-10 THC, and impose a prohibition on sales to individuals under 21 years old and a limit of five servings of product per package.

I know a LOT and I mean a LOT of heavy drinkers who stopped drinking cold turkey due to D8 gummies - would be a disaster if they ban these.

He's almost 80, not much time left. You'll recover.

Believe what… that alcohol is more dangerous than thc or that this is more government intervention and regulation ? or is that the lawmakers were bought off by the alcohol lobby bc of declining sales? Which one is wrong?

Yep. We've seen a significant decline in alcohol consumption over the last few years. Which is great for the general health and well being of the populaiton.

We can't have that apparently

THC doesnt make billions per year in revenue for police units across America....except for the fact that when its banned, it supports HUGE funding for narco departments across America.

I just enjoy the seltzers from time to time. I guess they want to make sure I have a Jack Daniels in my hands. Wouldn't want me to be out there surviving or anything.

If you need anything more to relax than a Xanax and a few whiskeys then you may have a problem.
