Basketball Goal

Posted by LMBERG1818 on 11/30/25 at 3:42 pm
Please tell me in his contract that the nonsense with the B-Ball goal is a no-go on the sidelines in DV. I’m all all for new blood and shaking things up for the kids, but that screams “irrelevant little brother” ideology. Leave that for the chumps who have never even won an outright conference division title.

What this will do is make it harder to grow hemp. The stuff you don’t smoke. People try and blame alcohol. Hemp isn’t the same as marijuana and I don’t know why it would affect alcohol. But it would the paper and cotton industries

You should sit this one out buddy

Why is this a good thing in your book? Just curious.

No. Lurked for years. Read lots of his post
Helped me too. My life has been completely changed for the better for the last 18 months being sober. Having an alcohol alternative that’s not gonna be available because these slime balls want to protect the alcohol industry is infuriating.

Abbott made the right decision here in Texas to veto Patrick’s ban on it was relieving. Didn’t think it would ever be threatened federally. Especially by the way of slipping it in under some spending bill. Absolute dog shite

That’s what’s crazy. Why is kratom never gone after by the nanny state government?

Also, the main reason I jumped in on this post is because the comment made by Stout about people faking knee and back pain. His Holy Than Thou attitude is so over the top

So far the ability to buy hemp products was a middle ground that turned out to be a blessing. Life is so much better without alcohol. That’s coming from someone who denied that for 40 years. I know that THC gets the stigma of being a gateway drug, but I’m not sure where I would be if I hadn’t discovered it. Definitely wouldn’t still be married ??

I’ve also had several friends and my wife try some of my “chronic waters” and they enjoyed them and definitely enjoyed the morning after not being hungover or craving for more, alas hair of the dog

Guess more people will have to get hooked on gas station meth for their alleged knee or back pain

That’s what’s interesting about it. The current laws right now are offering people a way to purchase THC products online through 3rd party tested company. Which is great for people like me who was losing his life to alcohol. But if they change it up, I would have to get some medical card to get the real stuff. But I don’t want to do that because I’m not in pain nor do I want want to have to go through all the hoops just to overpay for something that I could grow myself. Then the other options are go down to the corner store and pick up some Kratom or other crap or worst of all for me, a case of beer.

But you sit there and blame the reasoning of why it should be banned is people who are pretending to have knee or back pain
Big Weed??

Try again. The Alcohol industry has their slimy prints all over this. The younger generation isn’t lining their pockets enough because they have other options when choosing what to drink in social settings. THC infused drinks are a major threat to booze.

Which part is he wrong on? The alcohol being worse than THC??
[embed]What everyone always forgets is the momentum stalls. Even if those reviews had gone our way; it's stopping the tempo of our offense once it gets started. These are things that never show up in the stat line or box scores. Watch the game again and tell me how many times an outside force (the refs) stalled the offense's momentum.[/embed]

This is exactly what I was pointing out to my wife. Everytime we had some kind of momentum there would be a review or a call that slowed things down.

My wife is an aggy and she was pissed about the non call on the unnecessary roughing out of bounds and the reversal on the slide for a first down. That to me was the worse of all the calls. We finally have a QB that makes a beautiful run for a first down and the refs take it away so blatantly
He's pulling the wool here. Vaccines go through similar testing to pharmaceuticals, but vaccines with an established safety record like flu vaccinations don't have to go through placebo-controlled studies every year because (1) there is a long-established safety record and (2) the flu antigens circulating change frequently enough that you couldn't get timely annual protection if you did a full trial every year. It works fine. RFK wants vaccines to be more feared, less available, more expensive, less used.

This is typical. What gain does RFK get from making wanna be vaccines more expensive and less available??

Yeah that is partially because weed makes you not want to do anything. So there is that. It also smells bad. Look I am for legalizing it so I am not saying I don't like it therefore you cannot do it. I quit drinking and that was tough to do, but I feel so much better now for it.

This isn’t weed he wants to ban. It’s THC infused products (gummies, cookies, drinks, etc.). From Hemp not marijuana. Less than .03%.
But of course there are manufacturers that are going too far by making like 500mg gummy’s which might need to be under better control.
He claims it’s targeted towards kids, which can be a valid argument. But he definitely has skin in the game being he wants to ban it completely. His press conference proved he is desperate to get the media on his side.

I quit drinking alcohol as well. It was destroying my health and marriage. My life is so much better now. I do enjoy a THC infused beer or seltzer now and then when playing golf or by the pool. Totally different mood after consuming THC vs alcohol. THC is legit calming and chill inducing while when drinking alcohol I become a drunk who can’t get enough until I end up on a 6 day bender and end up in ER and/or sleeping under a different roof than my wife and kids.

Marijuana reminds me a lot of the covid shot how the government said it was safe and once millions of people used it only now we know how deadly it is It seems like everyone who uses marijuana is also vaxed Proud pureblood (both kinds) checking in

Torrey Pines Tee Times

Posted by LMBERG1818 on 4/22/25 at 9:08 am
Question for any San Diego non residents that has successfully made a tee time at Torrey Pines. I have read that it’s pretty difficult to make a tee time there but I happened to actually get lucky and reserve one in July, so I think. So if anyone who has done so by booking directly through San Diego municipality and not a broker, did you get confirmation directly from Torrey pines golf course through fore up software. I’m just want the confidence that it’s legit before making the trip and finding out I have been scammed. Thx!
