After last year

Trying to escape at the slightest pressure, not stepping into the pocket and acting injured after every sack were signs of a guy who thought 'just a few good games in my final season and I'll be a 1st round pick'

This is how money and fame destroy you.

Let this example be given to every big time LSU player going forward.

I don’t understand all these conclusions about Nuss. He’s obviously hurt and it impact his play, but how can you conclude that he doesn’t care and isn’t trying?

Because he doesn’t care and isn’t trying. It’s known that Nuss didn’t put in the work during the offseason. He didn’t look very well prepared last night, as well as the whole season, and last night he didn’t look like he cared.

Lots of smoke about how he didn’t prepare in offseason. The fact that the first time he used the VR system that Jayden Daniels credits for his development until after the Ole Miss loss is evidence enough.

People criticize him for crying but then say he doesn’t care. Makes no sense. Why would he cry if he were indifferent?

Then he should have left after last year.

He has to be painted as a villain. Thats how the Rant copes. Perkins gets the same treatment it’s just not the same volume.

This blows my mind. If he really didn’t put the time in during the offseason…he should’ve lost the job quickly. That’s completely inexcusable.

It’s not real. Ruffino started the rumor and our fans gravitate to the worst people in our media.

Like you did Jayden Daniels when you wanted to bench him for Nussmeier?

It’s different for me. I saw Matt Flynn crying after losing a game in triple OT. He played his arse off and came up short.

Nuss isn’t giving that effort. Sorry.

Is it known, or is this just something Ruffino said? Has it been corroborated? Ruffino also said players wanted Nuss benched games ago. Haven't heard that from anyone else either.

It wouldn't shock me--I just wonder if we're getting the whole story.

Just because someone is not successful doesn’t mean they aren’t trying

Flynn lost the game in 3OT. That’s success? Are you reading a different post?

Give Nuss a BJ elsewhere.

No. What I’m saying is that because Nuss has been unsuccessful this season, you assume he isn’t trying and doesn’t care. What I am saying is that he can both be trying AND not be doing well.

I see what you’re saying. Sorry about the BJ comment. lol. I’ve seen a lot of people on here blindly protecting Nuss’ play. He’s not our only issue by far. But I don’t see him as a leader.

He didn't care in the offseason because he thought he was "just that good" and he could turn the switch on once the games started.

The problem with this team is we have no leaders.

Our offensive leader has cried more times than he has thrown a TD pass in the last few games. Our defensive leader is TikToking his shaved head then returns only to stay on the sidelines waving a white towel over his head the last few weeks.

NO REAL LEADERS!

We need a complete overhaul in the offseason.

Something is wrong with Nuss. His velocity is different from last year to this year. It’s possible he picked up an injury and it’s also in his head. Mechanics are not right. He needs to get right to have any chance going forward
