Classic case on a person thinking he doesn't have to work hard in the offseason, just go through the motions. Of course, after the season, his PR team will blame it on an injury.

OP is Exactly Correct!
Nussmeier has No business being a Div 1 QB, and certainly not Starting for LSU - game after game & left in, series after series, for entire games.
I'm no Football Wizard, and we will see, but I don't think Nussmeier will take even 1 snap in the NFL! He simply does not have the skillsets a QB needs.
In fact - Nussmeier has the OPPOSITE traits, characteristics, movements, eyesight, touch/feel a QB needs!
Not being mean......it's just the Reality!

LSU brought him here, lol. I remember thinking his stats weren’t that good when he came here. I don’t think he will be here next year if that’s any consolation. On an even better note our brilliant 5th year senior will never put on an LSU uniform again after this year thankfully. I can’t wait. Never been this happy to watch a player leave. Hopefully we can bring some talent in here next year.

He had an hour to throw on that 3rd down before half when he decided to throw a bounce pass in the middle of the field to no one rather than passing to the open WRs that McElroy pointed out (or just running it to keep the clock running instead of stopping the clock for Bama).
