I got a pair of Tecovas that are round toe pythons and a pair of Ariat Relentless square toe boots that are brown caiman, both were around the 420-450 range, I love both of them, but for a higher price range, cant go wrong with Chisos, Luccheses, Anderson Bean, and Dan Post - all are known for quality, which with exotic boots is a no brainer. I guess my question is what kind of exotics are you lookin for and do you own any to begin with or these will be your first pair?

I should've been a cowboy
I should've learned to rope and ride
Wearin' my six-shooter, ridin' my pony on a cattle drive
Stealin' the young girls' hearts
Just like Gene and Roy
Singin' those campfire songs
Woah, I should've been a cowboy

I have 2 sets of tecovas. One Caiman and full quill ostrich, both are great. And I have an old pair of Luchesse alligator. Those are great too but now they are more than $800

Are black jacks worthy of cost??

I dont know anyone that owns a pair of black jacks, those are upper echelon like the Luccheses, in my honest opinion, I would never buy a pair of boots priced over 650, after that kind of range, id worry about screwing them up and at the end of the day, its just boots, not worth it to me.

Kangaroo leather is lighter and stronger than the hide of a cow or goat. It has 10 times the tensile strength of cowhide and is 50% stronger than goatskin.
