Funnel between some fields and thick stuff that was select cut a few years ago. Saw 2 dinks here yesterday.

Ebike turned a 2+ mile walk into about a quarter mile walk. I dont care if its gay, I love it.

.270 on a pipeline. Looks like they finally hit the persimmons and rice bran I put out Thursday. Had a little doe in the food plot when I climbed in the stand and was able to climb up without spooking her.

Had a doe walk 10’ away from me, look me in the eyes, and kept on walking.

Since she didn’t blow at me I let her pass

Calling it a day and heading back to the house.

My next sit will be tomorrow afternoon. I’m thinking with that cold front moving south it will be ??. Gonna go “old school” and sit against a tree 60 yards downwind from a big oak tree dropping acorns close to a bedding area.

Sat with my 4 YO son for the first time in a box in Woodville MS.

Didn’t see shite and we almost fought at about 8 AM when he was so bored/tired before we could get out of the box at 9.

Ended up eating more snacks and playing games together on his iPad with no internet until 9.

Packed my bow JUST in case something was dumb and enough to get within range with all that commotion and being downwind and all.

Be back at it soon after a nap.

At about 930 my buddy called and said he shot a buck. He started whining about not being strong enough to pack it out. With me being the selfless friend that I am I decided to get down and go help. Let my bow down and was unhooking my platform and got to watch a doe (which i would have shot) and a dink buck walk by at 20 yards. No good deed goes unpunished.

High 40s, calm
Both boys with me, 10 year old had his .260 and was on doe patrol.

Morning was over before I could even get my phone out to post. Right about sunrise he said dad there’s a doe. Dropped her where she stood at 80 yards.
