Kenny Dillingham is the best name outside Kiffin or Saban

He reminds me of Will Wade. Super hungry coach that took a program in shambles and brought them out of it. I think the hungry aspect can’t be ignored at all. Saban, Cignetti (do you hear how intense he is with the media). They want nothing more than to win. That’s such a huge aspect, in my opinion more important than X’s and O’s. Dillingham wants nothing more than to succeed. Like WW who used 6 figures of his own money to get a high recruit. That’s hungry. Kenny is that.

ASU went through some scandal in 2021, in addition to going 3-9 in 2022. Herm Edwards or Tony Dungee got fired. They received a scholarship ban, and in 2 years Kenny had them in the CFP on a limited scholarship ban.

Same here. He'd rejuvenate LSU fan base.

Yes, Tony Dungee or Herm Edwards (same person) ended it at 3-9. Jayden left ASU for LSU because the mismanagement. Their roster cleared out in 2021/2022.

There was some scandal. I can’t remember. They had to vacate wins and limited on scholarships

Dillingham did the turnaround with limited scholarships.

I agree. We have all probably dove into learning about a lot of these coaches and he impresses me the most. Auburn OC then to Oregon as OC where Bo Nix followed him. Young, passionate and fiery HC. I would think at some point he will leave Arizona State and whoever gets him will be getting a good one.

I heard he already told his school and players that he is coming back next year.

Maybe he'll be a great coach, who knows, but Skattebo going full superman was a huge reason for their success last year so it doesn't seem to me that Dillingham has really proven anything yet.

You forgot about FSU

Dillingham coached Bo Nix as a freshman at Auburn in 2019, then Dilly left to become the OC at Florida St for the next two seasons.

Dan Lanning hired Dillingham as his OC when he got the Oregon job in 2022. Nix then transferred, reuniting with Dillingham

I hate Dillinghams offensive scheme. It’s high school level in some ways and always gets completely shut down by any defense with a pulse.
