Too long, didn't watch folks:
Nick will take calls with recommendations on the next coach, but isn't interested in coaching or being AD.

He gives some of his bonafides in the video, but according to his channel description:
Chris Landry is a Veteran Football Coach and Scout who has worked for the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans. Previously he ran the annual NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and served as an assistant coach at LSU. Landry is now a consultant for multiple NFL teams and major college programs.

but he might take calls on being president of football operations since we may be switching to a vertical hierarchy like the NFL instead of horizontal. Saban alluded to this on gameday last week.
he absolutely can be our Al davis or jerry jones.

Love the idea! Saban as GM. I mean at this point College is just Minor league NFL.

Just like I said who the perm opponents were gonna be I said this is exactly what is happening now. Nick has for years gave his opinion on guys. When he was coach at Bama he regularly got phone calls about individuals. The guy I get my info from plays golf with Nick, goes to his house in Ttown, went with Nick to visit Ryan Williams and his mom recently. Nick left because of the portal and NIL. period. He wants no part of organizing a team in any fashion. Not as a GM, which is more of a headache than being a coach, not as a president of ops, not as an AD, Nothing. If he wanted to coach he'd still be at the program he was at for almost 20 years. There is literally nothing that would entice him back to coaching these days.

If that’s the case, why is Dalton all of the sudden here? He didn’t do thorough research before applying at the last minute. You can see that in his interview on the News when he entered himself as a candidate. I don’t believe it’s a coincidence that he was chosen as Chancellor, which we haven’t had since 2012. If you have an explanation for Dalton, I’d love to know from your inside sources.

Shrimp and grits are delicious. That’s my sources. I don’t know why that’s relevant but it sounds just as good as anything anyone else has said and it’s what I’m currently eating so. Here we are.
Also I would like to add that I was extremely high when I posted this so there’s a chance I won’t remember even doing it.

Coincidence and no relation, maybe so, but this is Louisiana…nothing would surprise me.

How many random people do we need with LSU podcasts/streams?
They're like nail salons these days.

He used to be LSU's coach. He coached at Alabama for a while, but is now retired.
