The vast majority of topics (if not all) on this board the past 2 weeks have been looking backward rather than forward to our biggest game of the year.

It’s created a sneaky good feeling about this game.. Huge that we’ve had 2 full weeks for a reset rather than the 5 day turnaround most of the teams who’ve fired their coaches have had to deal with this year, which has led to absolute collapses. Could be the case with us too, I just feel like we have too much talent ready to be let off the leash to let that happen.

Only one way to find out…

I 100% believe the team will play differently tomorrow night, but I don't think we beat Bama. If we do, of course I'd be thrilled, but at this point I'm just hoping for a competitive loss

Only difference is Joe/BK are gone- now we get to see if the team is willing to play for Frank- I think they will.

Feels a little 2008-ish. That team was outgunned but they gave it their all and put up a good fight. Hope to see the same tomorrow, but with a better result.

We are trying this new strategy to where if we dont care at all (as a fan base) then it lessens the importance of the game and will cause Bama to not care and look past it and not be up for it. Resulting in a low scoring game where tigers have a chance for an upset.

But dont fricking tell anyone the masterplan.

They’re a very good team, but they’re also very beatable.

There’s just too much parity in CFB this year. Outside of 1 game the only thing that’s held us back from being 7-1 is piss poor game planning and non existent in game scheme adjustments, which to me has put our players in terrible positions to execute and just go play with rhythm.

A lot of the blame is on them as well, but when you’re trotting out vanilla each week I see how that can be uninspiring and morale diminishing.

I kind of like it this way. I wish there was no BYE before Bama. Rather treat it like another game.

IMO, Alex Atkins is the key.

I think Alabama is a decent matchup for LSU's defense. Simpson has been great, but he's not necessarily a "running" QB. I think LSU can get after him a bit like they did with Klubnik. It all depends on the OC. LSU has talent on the offensive side. They have just had to deal with an absolutely horrible approach from an outclassed OC. IF LSU is willing to do things just a bit differently tomorrow, I think the offense is capable of scoring around 24-28 points.

I don't care if they win 100-0, just want some effort like 1H A&M game.
I think we're numb b/c we're essentially rudderless w/o a head coach but that will change soon

2008 yes, but to me I get the 2021 feeling.

If Max Johnson steps into a throw for once in his life and hits Trey Palmer in the end zone we very well may have beat that team with how our D played.

I don’t believe this is our biggest game of the year.

If you were looking at the schedule before the season then no, it was Clemson easily.

At this point in the season it absolutely is. Should we find a way to win this the entire outlook changes to me and many who still believe we have a really good team.

Anything can happen baw. There was never a 2 loss champion until some team did it in 2007.. never been a 3 loss team in the playoffs but it will happen eventually.

Doesn’t matter what’s likely, there’s a reason they play the games.

I can't wait. Might not transpire tomorrow this way but a lot of the time when a coach is fired midseason the team ends up performing much better than expected the next game. Maybe better morale. Who knows?

I'm ready.

A lot of the talking heads I've seen talk about it are still talking about LSU like Sloan is calling plays. Like "the offense can't run and don't really try, don't pass well". Do people really think the offense will be exactly the same?!?!

We don't have any more big games this year. We just have games while we wait on the reset.

Let's hope the players are more fired up about this game than the Rant is...

I don’t know why everybody thinks this Alabama team is so unbeatable.

Got steam rolled by FSU
Ga kicks two FG or doesn’t drop a TD pass = L
Got fortunate to hold on vs Mizzou
100 yard pick 6 vs Tenn was game changer
Got outplayed by SC for 56 minutes

Please tell me why this bunch is so overrated??
