quote:

England, Arkansas — On September 17, 2025, Jefferson County Constable William Hamilton tried to make a traffic stop near Sherrill. The driver, a 25-year-old woman, said she became alarmed because Hamilton was not in uniform and was driving an older, unmarked truck rather than a police car.

Fearing he might not actually be law enforcement, she refused to pull over right away and instead called 911 for help. While on the phone with dispatchers, she turned on her hazard lights and drove toward a well-lit, populated area, eventually stopping in the parking lot of a Dollar General store in the town of England.

There, officers from England Police and a Lonoke County Sheriff’s deputy met her and Hamilton, which led to a heated confrontation between the constable and other officers over his handling of the stop and pursuit.

Would you pull over for a shitty 2004 GMC Sierra?

Grandpa Saggytits doesn't need to be pulling anyone over at all, especially not in an unmarked truck

Watched 3:00 and the old man is an a-hole. I wouldn’t have stopped for him in his personal vehicle either.

This brings me back to the DTL era in BR, b/c for a long time that was the rumor of how the serial killer was getting close to the women before killing him.

No, I would not pull over for that.

I'd keep driving and call #HP or 911.

Hell, even the real officer wasn't exactly 100% sold on G'pa Deputy Dawg's authority initially.

The problem is rural areas give these "old school law man" types badges with limited power and they do shite like this. You can tell the actual LEO has dealt with these types before.

The power move at 3:10 was epic, when he asked the old man if he called it in and let the county know about this, and the old man yells "NO" and then backs off. These old guys weren't bound by actually following rules and are used to doing these power trips and the younger, actual LEO is following the rules and knew that the old guy didn't and basically took control after that.

Westphalia and Dusseldorf need to get their jurisdictions figured out, this is the second time this exact scenario has happened in a couple of months.

Watched the whole thing.... I'm surprised pawpaw didn't wind up in cuffs. His brothers in blue had about enough of his fiber laced shite.

All in all, a feel good video. Props to the cops that protected that lady from that batshit constable.

If you pay attention at like 12:20, in the background the cop with a beard and glasses is LAYING INTO the old man

if you're going to be at work as an officer, drive an appropriate vehicle and don't dress like somebody going home from gall bladder removal surgery

In South Carolina constables wear the same uniform as the sheriffs office but the patch says name of the county and Constable. They aren’t plain clothes at all. This old fella would catch two in the chest in a self defense shooting acting like this in SC.
