If LSU comes out with fire I’d say there’s a solid chance we win.

Bama is beatable and our issue hasn’t been being better than other teams. It’s been scoring points in the red zone and picking up 3rd downs to put a team away.

The season has been a shitshow because we should have beaten Clemson, Florida, and SC by 3-4 scores each. We should have beaten Ole Miss and Vandy. A&M is the only team that beat our arse.

If playcalling is better and the guys are fired up, there’s no reason we can’t win.

Not to mention our boosters bought this team to go to the playoff and possibly win a national championship

Why did you fail to mention the 42-13 beatdown that Alabama team put on LSU last year?

Or what's more important there 7-1 record this year? Aka the year the game is being played

We straight gave up in the A&M game.

Should have been up by 8 at halftime too

Exactly. This team should have been so much better. But, it’s been pretty bad all year. So, to beat Alabama, we’d have tot have a complete turnaround. It’s happened before.

I have full faith that LSU will keep it close for a good portion of the game. I also just put my money on Bama to cover the spread.

I remember in 2021 after it was announced that O was going to be gone after the season, we went into Alabama and Bryce Young who won the Heisman and played for a national championship that year. We lost 20-14, our horrible defense played lights out, and we had a chance to go win the game at the end. And that team and situation was MUCH worse than this. We have the talent and defense to match up with Bama, the question is, can Atkins and the offense generate 27+ points?

There’s always a chance that an underdog can win.

Look at the 1993 “pigs fly” game.

Do you want Wilson as your head coach?

I need assurances he won’t regardless of how they finish

Didn’t they also beat our arse last year with a weaker team?

Simpson is miles better than Milroe

In O's lame duck season we went to Bama and nearly won that game. Had a ball in the end zone to win on the last play IIRC.

Thats true, but Simpson is also a much better match-up for a Blake Baker defense

Have you been watching the games this year? We still have the same offensive line last time I checked.

Be careful with this rational take. Lots of doomers on this site thought we would lose out middle of last week.

We are no worse off than if Kelly were here, IMO.

Lets see what happens
