This video popped up on my Feed and it is amazing to see the amount of development happening in Charlotte. Downtown Charlotte’s skyline is starting to get massive

It almost seems fake but this is real - Charlotte is booming like I have never seen before

It is. The new delta terminal is an extremely long walk from security. No plane trains or anything but that new delta lounge is great

That's cool. Found this video of Austin, TX between 2001 and 2025. Pretty wild how much it's changed (and not always in a good way) since I lived there in the late 80's - early 90's.

I hear their train system is especially nice and peaceful at night.

Raleigh is pretty active downtown too. I was amazed at the number of apartments/condos going up and all the new bars and restaurants downtown. Helps to have all those great colleges nearby pumping out new grads, and a local economy big enough to put them to work.

It's basically arranged in a giant line with no motorized transport, so if you land on one side of the airport, you have to walk (or run, with sometimes functional moving sidewalks!) from one end of the airport to the other. It's fricking awful.

This video's angle also cuts off like 10-15 more towers that are to the right of the viewing angle of this camera (Rainey).

Terminal E is under major construction. I've been through it twice in the last 10 days.

Once done, it will be nice.

BTR flies in and out of E20ish-30ish, so yeah, good fricking fun when you're trying to catch a tight connection and have a 25min walk or 15min run ahead of you

Everyone is like, Charlotte has those cute rocking chairs.

MFer I'm hauling my arse off I have no time to rock in a damn chair, I only get to look at them as I fly by.
