Maybe we could get some kind of pick for him if we trade him now?
I can't believe we gave up the future of the franchise, and all we have is him and Fears to show for it. And the best part is that this board was all over it. BilJ was so right four days ago when he called Queen "a very marginal prospect.". And, of course, We all knew that DQ was only drafted because Weaver it's too lazy to scout outside of the metro DC area, but I learned from NOSHAU that Dumars made the stupid trade
And of course, if Fears and Queen actually were any good, we all know that Willie wouldn't play them anyway.
This board is the best. Y'all are awesome.

Is this a joke post?
Both Fears and Queen are raw, and we have used them a bit too much. But they have had great moments and have high ceilings. Like foundation of the franchise type of games. I think we stole them both..

Y'all don't understand ... instead of Derik Queen, we could actually have a totally random draft pick in a loaded draft. Loaded! Next year's draft is totally loaded, just like it always is.
EDIT: Did I forget to mention that the pick that we could have is unprotected? UNPROTECTED! Just imagine what a great player "Unprotected Pick" would be. That dude has mad skillz—what a baller

No, trading for Queen made us the LAUGHINGSTOCK OF THE LEAGUE. We traded our whole future for a fatass, lazy goofball who is a marginal prospect at best. Dumars and Weaver are total clowns.

This is my favorite part. When the trade was made the next draft was LOADED, top to bottom! Once the NCAA season starts it will be "stacked in the 1st round".. In a few months after that it will be "the best lottery draft in years". After the tournament it will be "plenty of franchise talent in the top 8 picks.
By the draft it will be "outside of the top 3 there really isn't a sure fire pick"

Y'all are ignoring the truth. We didn't just trade for Queen because Dumars is an idiot and only because Weaver's son is friends with him, it's also because it was all a conspiracy!

I think it's very possible that we can both win this trade and lose this trade at the same time. Even if Queen hits. The NBA is about maximizing assets. Unfortunately, Griffin consistently pissed them down the drain in a pussy arse slow bleed way and Dumars came in pissed them down the drain a more aggressive way. A small market team generally needs more bites at the apple, not less, to become a championship level contender over time.
