Just went through the DriveThru at my local McDonalds and to my surprise the McRib is back.

Haven't eaten at a McDonald's in a long time but I thought it was common knowledge when McRib season was.

That being said, last year I had two McRibs, they both came on quarter pounder buns because they were out of McRib buns. I was not happy

Tried a McRib about 10 or so years ago just out of curiosity. Threw it on the ground after the first bite.
What the hell is that pressed meat?
What the hell is that pressed meat?

Although I haven't had one in probably 15yrs, MS Copilot says it's made of ground pork shoulder, water and preservatives (for shelf life) and pressed into a mold to resemble boneless ribs.
I mean, what did you think you were getting?

That marketing plan was about 3 years ago.
They McLied to us.

PSA: Eating a McRib in the car might seem like a good idea, but it’s not. Don’t do it.

During the pandemic, our local school system would deliver school lunch provisions to all the students. One of the frozen meats they delivered I swear was the same "rib" meat mold McD uses for the McRib. I made my own McRibs many a nights during that dark time when I was indulging in the devil's lettuce too often.

Just before the winter holidays and again before Easter. It's ham harvesting time. A good time of year to make sausage and smoke ribs. I've been checking the grocery ads for the sub $1 per pound Boston Booty twin packs.

It was terrible 20 years ago so I would hate see what it taste like now!

I don’t know why but this thought fascinates me.

I don't like them either, but I would have thrown it in the garbage. Throwing it on the ground is trailer park behavior.
