I would not be mad about this. The guy had Arizona State in the playoff last year. Arizona State now has many CFP appearances as we do. Not only that, he would bring in guys like Skattebo to play in the purple and gold. I would not be mad if we were to pull this off

I'm sure he's somewhere on just about every school's list

I would be happy with him. This was kind of a rebuild year anyway, and his NFL caliber QB got injured 4 games ago. Despite that, he’s sitting at 6-3 likely to finish 8-4/9-3.

ASU alum, wife family all in AZ & she’s expecting their 1st child in January.

I’d say he’s staying at ASU.

Every ASU person I know says he will not leave ASU.

I don’t believe them.

Matt Barrie on ESPN is an ASU alum & said with incentives KD made about $7.4 million last year.

Throw in the AZ weather & scenery, both natural & man-made, & that’s a tough pull.

I am wanting either of these 3

1. Brady
2. Golesh
3. Morris

I would like a Coach that is hungry for success.

The 12 team CFP has created a mirage.

Dilly, Dilly is likely the next Auburn coach.

Him or Huepel is my choice

I get the alumni thing, but is he really planning on staying at ASU his whole career? Maybe he wants a few more years there before moving on which he could definitely do since he’s so young.

But at the same time, he should take a long hard look at some past coaches who were the “hot” name and see how they ended up. If a premier program were to offer him, that’s not something that is guaranteed for the future

I believe the most realistic names are
Alex Golesh, Matt Campbell, Eric Morris, or Jon Sumrall. I think we need a young, energetic, hard working person to lead us going forward.
