I think it's idiotic to overreact to a couple of elections in blue states, but a few thoughts:
1) Scot Pressler, TPUSA, and a bunch of others have been working hard to register voters. I said it in 2022, and I've said it repeatedly since: our coalition is "lower propensity" and that means we have to do better at turning out voters than we have in the past.
2) We need to focus on the home front. The president has done a lot that has already paid off in lower interest rates and lower inflation, but we inherited a disaster from Joe Biden and Rome wasn't built in a day. We're going to keep on working to make a decent life affordable in this country, and that's the metric by which we'll ultimately be judged in 2026 and beyond.
3) The infighting is stupid. I care about my fellow citizens--particularly young Americans--being able to afford a decent life, I care about immigration and our sovereignty, and I care about establishing peace overseas so our resources can be focused at home. If you care about those things too, let's work together

Mass deportations, mass cuts to entitlements, HUGE federal infrastructure projects in the name of national security.
If they don’t do any of that (they won’t), it’s over.

The GOP got their asses handed to them last night and it was just a warm up for the mid-terms. Republicans are do nothing puppets that go up there to get their pension and multi-million kickbacks and they could not give two shits more about what happens to this Country..

They were supposed to. Same would happen with elections in Oklahoma and Tennessee. MAGA is still strong and will get better once government opens back up

glad to see JD still gets it.

if you’re going to copy and paste sentiment from Reddit, can you at least link us to the post?

I'll bet you $100 cold hard cash that if you repeat this same thing in 2026 after the mid-terms, you would be upvoted instead.
Too many MAGA tryhards on this board aren't seeing the big picture of why this is an arse kicking.

When did interest rates get lower?

What was stopping Trump from doing rallies in NJ and Virginia? Jack had some momentum going in the final days and Trump just does a tele rally?
Last night, Hispanics and the non white voters went back to Democrats after Trump did well in 2024 with those groups, thats a big problem for midterms
Is Vance going to align with Fuentes and America First gyopers who are calling him a fat race traitor?

How do you equate that meme being applicable to THAT statement?

Courts holding up so many things on the agenda, the non followers feel like nothing good has happened yet except gas and eggs going down and everything else up.
IF SC rules against tarrfis, things will be a mess.

Vance understands that 90% (to the extent possible by things in our control) of MAGA's political energy and capital need to be spend domestically, and in particular, on issues important to young men.

Because Trump is the one who started it all by attacking the most conservative members of congress. There by losing the support of many people including those who don't often vote republican.
Then he backed it up by calling them "panicans" and spending millions of dollars to campaign against other republicans while endorsing deep state people like Graham.
For the past 6 months or so, I've been told the GOP doesn't want me, doesn't need me.
What the frick did they think was going to happen? And now it's like "oh the infighting needs to stop". Ok, maybe start by not spending millions trying to primary conservatives because they were critical of your non conservative policies and don't take money from AIPAC.

Vance sees it slipping away. He is going to have to be more inspirational than Trump. Trump is a lame duck. California has 43 democrats and 9 republicans. With Prop 50 the most populous state will potentially have 48 democrats to 4 republicans. Think about that.

gas isn't going down and eggs only went down because they stopped killing all the chickens. It only takes about 6 months for chickens to mature, so they should be going down a lot more. They won't go down to what they were previously just because of inflation.
Trump increased spending which means an increase in taxes. His economic policy is one of inflation.
He's trying to buy or maybe has by now stock and ownership in private companies, otherwise known as marxism/communism.
He's bombed another nation on behalf of Israel and is more worried about serving them than the American people.
First gave all these "influencers" Eptsein Binders which contained less information than was already there, then claimed it was all bullshite. So he's protecting a bunch of pedos all for the benefit of Israel. Meaning the people who raped kids are still being blackmailed in their positions of power.
I can go on if you want.
Immigration has been a plus. Doge started out great, but none of the cuts are really going to stick, and none of it resulted in a fundamental change in how the bureaucracy operates. They'll all be back soon enough like the herps.
Not having to listen to woke shite is nice. So it's not all been bad, but it's been pretty bad. The swamp isn't draining at all, and I'm not interested in another brand of Marxism.

Good grief the idiocy on this board never ceases to amaze me. Trump is the strongest President in my lifetime and getting stronger by the day. You fools are lying to yourselves.

Establishing peace around the world is a not necessarily something we control. If establishing peace means engaging in or financing wars that are not in our national interest, I say take that one off the priority list.
