It's an off year election (done to keep turnout down) and it is in very blue states.
It was always going to go blue tonight and liberal media will proclaim a "referendum on Trump" even though these outcomes were determined before hand.
People melting down because NYC and VA are staying blue, these are all liberal states voting in an off year. These have no outcome of the Trump admin or fed government.

Truth, None of these are swing states.
Thank you for being the voice of reason.

Too much logic in this post.

Way too many libtards in those areas now for it to ever be red. People smoking crack

I'm not.
Just annoyed that I have to share a country with these fricktards.
Pretty sure it's time to seriously discuss splitting it up.

You’re seeing democrats win democratic areas.

You’re correct but it’s WHO they elected and what they represent. It’s radical. Period

Kind of disappointed in PA. Looks like it’s going to be a blowout for leftists judges.

Only in NYC.
The Two deepstate clowns are pretty much exactly what usually gets elected in VA and NJ.

White liberals are basically celebrating with a dick in their mouths, and they don't even know it. We ridin boys

Every single county in Virginia shifted blue.
Every single one.
Every single one.

Agreed. Blue states keep voting to Shitt on themselves.

Don't forget New Jersey. The Dems have had the Governor's mansion and both state legislative chambers locked up since 2018.
Tonight was nothing more than blue areas voting in blue candidates. All the pearl-clutching has been ridiculous.

Virginia had a Republican governor, a Republican LT governir, and a Republican AG. The state is not "staying blue" The statewide offices have flipped to blue.

there’s no sugar-coating Virginia voting for Jay Jones. I’m not going to lose sleep about Mamdani, Spanberger, or Sherril, but Jones is a punch in the gut as someone who lives in VA. Embarrassed to call it my home.

It's bad. It's not revolutionary.
It's really just a break from the temporary suspension of reality that was last November - when it seemed like wokeness would die off and we didn't share the country with millions of absolute trash human beings for a moment.
Nothing really changed on that front, plenty of our neighbors would still encourage their own children to join suicide troon cults if the alternative is being labeled regressive and homophobic.
I do think some of the positive trends will hold, but probably slower than we like. But there are probably 100m people in this country that share none of the values that decent people share or that made this country successful, so the rot is still there too. And it's pretty effective.

Like I said. Radical
Dude wants to kill kids. He’s a sociopath but Democrats seem to love these violent types

The fact jersey lost 225k+ people, mostly Republican, was surprising to me.
The balkanization of the country clearly favors Republicans. Doubt the Dems hold the hose for a very very long time.
