And that was for a Muslim foreigner to become mayor of NYC and institute socialist policies.

If that's what they want vote for then they deserve anything coming their way.

They fought for people to be able to vote. If those idiots in NYC vote him in then so be it. I hope it happens, can't wait to sit back and watch the chaos and it all burn.

For those keeping track at home:
- The cultures that dominate the places people flee to come here AND SEEK REFUGEE STATUS have innate, immense value
- Americans can learn so much by exposing themselves to the ideas and ways of life in places that people coming from said places say is such a nightmare that they can never return
- Those cultures are under no obligation to open themselves up to outsiders, they're too valuable for that, we can't tarnish them
- Imposing any other ideas or influences on those cultures in those places is, of course, racism and genocide
- No, America has no culture of its own, we're merely comprised of the cultures from the places the people who brought the cultures to us say is worse than death
- Saying America has any culture of its own is racist (and probably genocide but we're still workshopping that)

One of the guys I got laid off with at my last job got shot in Iraq and watched several of his battalion mates die.
He was rewarded with a layoff and having to train his Indian replacement to get a severance after he had just moved to the area from Atlanta 6 months before
This is what he fought for. For hordes of foreigners with no allegiance to America to come here and extrapolate the wealth away from those whose ancestors built this nation with their blood and lives

I would like everyone here to take just a moment to think about one simple little piece of early American history:
Our forefathers, the early settlers of the New World that we call America, rebelled and went to war against the most powerful nation and military in the world, because King George III levied a 3% tax on fricking TEA.
Our fighting spirit is dead, when we won't do anything about 38-45% of our money being taxed in one way or another.

My grandfather tore down Nazi flags in Europe.
The same people voting for communism today call my grandfather a Nazi bc he voted for Trump in 2016 before he passed away.

The problem is, NYC is (albeit less so than in times past) still a top financial, legal, cultural, etc etc etc hub of this nation.
If my pinky toe gets gangrene, it’s still incredibly bad for my whole body.
These people need to be rebuked and made to wallow in their shite. But we also need to reclaim our cities.

My ancestors never set foot in NYC, and certainly didn’t fight any wars for it. Tbh, I don’t think I have a single US military veteran in my entire lineage.

I'm torn... on one hand, I think it's a terrible idea to let a communist, America hating muslim extremist to take over leadership of our largest city and U.S. financial hub...
But on the other hand, if they elect him... they made their bed. Let them lie in it.

Yeah, the idea that Republicans are helped by Mamdani winning is silly. The media won’t fairly cover his failures.

They fought for local people to chose their local political leaders without outside interference. If the community wants to elect Mamdani, they can. If they want to elect a right winger, they can. The right and power of communities to select their own representatives is EXACTLY what our ancestors fought for.
