I wouldn’t say I’m “rooting” for anyone. Honestly I’m just ready to get this over so that we have a sitting president. Regardless of who it is. So that we can begin moving forward again.
I don’t know enough about any of the candidates. I’ll have to trust the board whittled it down to solid choices.

Why would James Dalton being Chancellor bode well for the Saban hire? I know he worked at Bama but why is this something Saban would want at LSU as a stipulation?

Because there is ALOT of smoke behind the rumor that this was a condition of Saban coming on in some capacity, AD/Coach or both. And he just was a late, somewhat surprising addition to the list of candidates....Coincidence?

He’s been president at a school of less than 10,000 students for two years. Why would that mean he’s qualified to be the president of the LSU school system statewide?

The first I saw of this stipulation was yesterday. Is there a chance that someone just happened to find out the Dalton was likely going to be the next chancellor and created this Saban stipulation out of thin air?
