You're not supposed to eat that part.

What happened? I haven’t had a full one in years, but the ones I’ve snatched out of my daughters Halloween sack seem to be same as usual.

I read about it years ago. The recipe was changed.

Never cared for Butterfinger. Stuck to your teeth too damn much.

Try a 5th Avenue!!

It blows the Butterfinger out of the water. Same ingredients but entirely different flavor.

Not as flaky, get stuck in your teeth more and the texture is all fricked up. I’m sure they changed the formula to go cheaper and the wrapper is a super thin metallic looking one instead of the old one

In recent years, many candy bar recipes have been modified / adjusted by the parent company. Ingredient quality has gone down and chocolate prices have soared. Your basic candy bar is now $3.00 and the size has gotten smaller. Definitely not the same taste and size I remember as a kid or even 10 yrs ago.

I rarely eat candy but I ate a Butterfinger a couple of weeks ago and didn't notice a difference.

I agree it changed in recent years and sucked. I tried one a day ago from kids Halloween candy and it tasted more like i remember as a kid. Flaky and delicious.
I’m wondering if they made some changes back to original recipe thanks to the MAHA movement.

Sounds like they took out the butter and gave the consumers the finger
